The 2026 Gargellen Flat Roof is the 5-person hybrid outdoor sauna — the larger-capacity version of the Carinthia Flat Roof, with PureTech™ Full Spectrum infrared and a traditional stove in the same structure, under the contemporary flat black roof. At 5-person capacity, the Gargellen is sized for a full household outdoor wellness session — infrared or steam, depending on what the day calls for.

The 2026 low-profile black flat roof replaces the traditional pitched roof with a contemporary profile that integrates more naturally into modern residential architecture and landscaping. The sauna interior, heater specification, and all-weather material quality are identical to the standard models — only the roofline changes, and for many outdoor wellness spaces, the roofline is the visual element that matters most.

The Golden Design Inc. outdoor traditional and hybrid saunas are built with natural reforested Canadian Hemlock, weatherproof exterior stain, and the structural quality of a product designed to remain outdoors year-round for a decade or more.

Installation & Setup

Foundation: Level, stable outdoor surface — concrete pad, compacted gravel, or solid decking. No permanent foundation required but recommended for long-term stability.

Electrical: Traditional stove requires 240V / 40AMP dedicated circuit. Lighting and controls require 120V / 15AMP. Hybrid models with infrared panels use 2 × 120V / 20AMP non-GFCI dedicated circuits instead of 240V for infrared operation. Consult a certified electrician before purchase.

Assembly: Ships in multiple boxes via LTL freight, curbside. Assembly requires two adults and the included hardware — no specialist tools. Owner's manual included.
