The Karlstad is Golden Designs' 6-person capacity outdoor hybrid — the structure that combines traditional steam from the Harvia stove with full spectrum PureTech™ infrared panels in a single all-weather outdoor cabinet. The Canadian Red Cedar interior provides the aromatic warmth and structural integrity that the Finnish sauna tradition was built on. It also includes a red light therapy system — the same near-infrared wavelengths used in clinical photobiomodulation, delivered passively during each session.

Installation & Setup

Assembly: Arrives as a kit on an LTL freight pallet. Assembly requires two adults and typically completes in under a day. All hardware and illustrated instructions included; Golden Designs' support team is available throughout.

Electrical: Dual power requirement — 240V / 40AMP for the Harvia stove and 120V / 15AMP for lights, audio, and infrared controls. A certified electrician must confirm and install the correct service before setup.

Placement: Level, stable outdoor surface. The all-weather exterior requires no overhead cover — direct outdoor exposure is the intended installation condition.
