The Vorarlberg is a 5-person traditional outdoor sauna in Canadian Hemlock — traditional steam only, no infrared, the Harvia stove delivering authentic Finnish heat at a temperature range the body actually responds to. For covered outdoor installation, this is the straightforward answer: real traditional steam, real capacity, honest construction at a price that reflects the material specification.
The Alpine Series reflects a different construction philosophy than the all-weather Finnish models. Canadian Hemlock rather than Red Cedar — a lighter-coloured, smooth-grained wood that holds heat well and handles the humidity of traditional sauna use without warping or checking. These saunas are suited to covered outdoor placement or sheltered installations: a covered patio, a garage side wall, a pergola-protected deck. They offer the full Golden Designs sauna experience at a more accessible price point by working with placement flexibility rather than building for direct weather exposure.
