A narrow upright cylinder holds less water than a standard horizontal tub, which means it reaches temperature faster, holds it more efficiently, and takes up a fraction of the floor space. The Dreampod Cold Plunge Barrel is built from the same high-grade fiberglass and hand-polished plastics as Dreampod's commercial float tanks — a double-hull GRP base with foam insulation, an anti-slip interior floor, and a finish that holds up in the wet salt environment of daily cold immersion. This isn't the inflatable version. This is a permanent fixture, built to the standard that a float tank manufacturer applies to everything they make.

The 3/4 HP chiller cools the water precisely and maintains your target temperature between sessions automatically. Cools to 37°F; heats to 104°F for contrast therapy or warm soaks. The same compact, quiet chiller unit used across Dreampod's entire Ice Series — it runs with minimal noise, requires straightforward maintenance, and connects to the control panel for session scheduling and temperature management.

All of the Ice Series products should be positioned a safe distance away from any electrical outlets or electrical equipment for obvious safety reasons.

It’s important that the room or space where you are placing your Dreampod is somewhat prepared as a wet environment. We recommend some type of non-slip mat or flooring next to the Ice Bath. This will be helpful when getting in and out.

Installation & Setup

Placement: Position on any flat, level surface indoors or outdoors. Allow clearance for the chiller unit beside or behind the barrel, and access to a standard power outlet and garden hose for filling.

First fill: Connect the chiller to the barrel's inlet and outlet ports using included fittings. Fill via garden hose to the marked fill line. Power on the chiller and set your target temperature. Allow several hours to reach temperature on first fill.

Remote setup support (included): Dreampod provides virtual setup walkthrough covering chiller connection, control panel configuration, and maintenance schedule.

Maintenance: The chiller handles water temperature automatically. Monitor and treat water chemistry weekly using standard cold plunge chemicals. Drain and deep clean monthly or as needed.
